i found a 2002 lx protege 5spd with 105xxx miles on it the interior is in good shape the outside doesn't have any dents and the back bumper has alittle scrape where the paint is gone it drives fine but the miles are alittle high but the price is $4000
im wanting to get a 5spd car so i can build a turbo protege but im worried that if i put a turbo on a engine with 105+ miles on it it will just blow up
please give me your in put

if all the maintenance is done right you should be fine. i have a 626 with ovr 130k on its FSDE with a 5spd and it runs great.

put enough work into it and you can turbo anything. just gotta do the right reinforcements and whatnot. 105 is pretty high for an '02 though, but the price is reasonable for the condition. mine is an 00' es, i got it for $6,500 w/ 72,000 miles.

i believe the blue book value for that car with 100k is about $5k...

but yea i wouldn't pay above 4
