I have a 98 protege and im looking to debadge it. Has anyone else debadged theirs. If so do you have any pointers, because it is screwed onto the trunk and would leave holes once removed.

Since it is bolted on, best thing to do would be to take it to a body shop. There, they will take off the badges, fill in the holes, and respray the parts with fresh paint.

You can do this yourself, but if you don't have any experience doing body work, it may not turn out to your liking if you are real particular about how it looks.

If you cant wait to do it that way...you can go to lowes and buy 4 vinyl plastic hole-fills (size 1/4 inch) . They are located in the specialty fasterer drawers, where the screws/bolts/washers would be. I got 4 for $1.50ish. You could always prime and paint the heads to match your car finish.

I'll get a pic up of it tonite

i had to weld the holes on my mp5 wasnt too hard....well worth it...looks so nice and clean, but if you do it you need to get a little bodywork done and get the trunk/hatch painted.
