What have you done to your Miata today?

Much appreciated sir!!

And trust me, i TOTALLY understand wanting to upgrde the suspension, but at the moment, other things are ahead of it in line

But, not TOO far off cause after the corner and bounce i took today, i'm thinkin these are the orig. struts at 106K miles and are toast. . . .

So, after top, seats, and roll bar, i think suspension then wheels are next.

I'll be keeping my eyes on part outs as well for new interior misc

so got everything installed this last weekend and it went pretty well...kinda fun actually. Started it up and it ran fine...But i have a cooling problem now. So now I'm trying to figure that out.

Called the local miata salvage specialist and put my name down for a top, seats, and carpets.

No more musky wet smell for me!!

Also just watched the two episodes of "wheeler dealers" about the mx-5 and feel better about my car so far!

he he he he. . . . everyone wants the MX-5 lol

i love this little car more and more every time i drive it!!

ive always liked them then you got yours and i saw a few around here, then starting doing some searching, if all goes as planned ill be picking one up in the spring

lol that's about the worst time to buy a miata. That's when they're most expensive. There's good reason that both of my convertibles were purchased in November lol

i know it would be better to buy one now but i dont want to get one to store for the winter and ill have the money in the spring

There is one down here, 91 for $1899.

It could be a little project to work on through the winter

one that im looking at now is a 90 with new top, timing belt, water pump and other pullies replaced, new struts, and new battery for $3000

Not too bad.

Got my 90 for $2k, but, i need a top, timing belt, water pump, struts, interior, etc. lol

Whatever you do ... don't buy a car that doesn't need anything done to it! I can't really mod mine because everything's already bloody done.

gah I need a new top

but not sure what to get tho

Vinyl or Mohair

Vinyl = cheaper which means I'll save money towards other things

Mohair = looks and apparently last longer, better

saw that on CR.net.

I'd snatch that beast, but, i'd have to ship it cross country
