Mazda5 Wheel Fitment & Photo Guide

Yes I did on my 2014 went aftermarket rim a 7.5 wide and 235 45 17 and going over bumps fender would hit at one pot hole hit so hard bent my fenders both rear I had to bend back into place so keeping new rims going back to factory size till they wear out then I am getting 225 45 17 that's about 8 1/2 " of rubber on the road and will not hit fender and can have passengers now !!! I think factory rims would be good if they weren't only 6" wide ! Good luck with upgrades!!!

Wow looks great mine is 2014 same color my rims look so much like those mine are gun metal color 7 1/2 " -17" I like the clean look of rims with the color . I ve been concentrating on sound deadening and upgrading my sound system for now ! I want to add more power to mine !!!

here is mine on 225/45/18

same for 4.5 years

^^ nice and clean. Can you share the part number for the eibach? Is it for Mz3 or Mz5? Reason why you choose eibach over H&R? Also what shocks are you using?

Thanks silentnoise.

This is the ebay link for Eibach kit, it's for Mz5 :
http://www.ebay.fr/itm/361308302158?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Part number : e10-55-009-01-22

I choise Eibach kit because the price are lower and the quality is good, i've a eibach lower spring kit for my another car (clk 200 kompressor convertible).

I've stock shock absorber but news.

Damn, your Mazda5 looks great!
Unfortunately finnish stupid law has changed and now its not so easy to put coilovers to car legally. And for that reason I had to forget coilovers and put H&R springs with stock absorders.
And wheels are Advanti Black Pearl 8,5x18, front ET50 and rear ET38 with 225/40R18 tyres.
I'm so sad that car is so high...

Hi Juppe,

Your color Mz5 is creazy, i love it (iagree)(thumb)

In France, i've no choise for the color : grey, black ... and white but very rare.

Thanks for the link. I like Eibach too, top notch in my book, and I've used them in the past.

I see these are only for 1.8 and 2.0 engines. Be interesting to see how much of a weight difference they are compared to the US 2.3... With your current setup, have you tried riding in the 3rd row to get a sense of how it feels as a passenger?

Yes, in France, we have only 1.8 and 2.0 petrol engine and 1.6, 2.0 diesel engine.

I don't know for the 2.3L engine but diesel engine is heavier than petrol engine.

For petrol engine :
- Front Axle Load kg = 1035 Kg / 2281 lbs
- Rear Axle Load kg = 1205 Kg / 2656 lbs

For diesel engine :
- Front Axle Load kg = 1130 Kg / 2491 lbs
- Rear Axle Load kg = 1205 Kg / 2656 lbs

Eibach Pro Kit parts number : E10-55-009-02-22

Do you know the 2.3 axle load ?

I just check Eibach USA site, the Mz5 not exist (yawn)

I have no problem with 4 passengers with baggages but i don't have test with 6 passengers.

I have a S2000 with RPF1 17x9+45 rear with 245 tires and 17x8+45 front with 225 tires.
Will I be able to reuse those rims on my Mazda 5?

Little feedback come back to holidays, with the rx8 wheels and eibach short spring, 6 passengers with some baggages, no problem, the wheels work great (limb)

Appreciate the update! The diesel spec spring would be a great alternative without breaking the bank. Too bad we can't get them in the US... :(
