What is the difference between Crystal White Pearl and regular white

Hi,

I am still shopping the CX-7. I am looking for the whilte one. So can someone tell me what is the difference between crystal white pearl and regular white?

Is this color similar to the one in Lexus IS starfire pearl?

The white pearl is like it says...it's got a pearly look to it....almost like a really beautiful white metallic...smooth and sparkly in sunlight. Really nice color! Similiar to the Lexus color!

Its true....its a fantastic looking color. I have it and I love the color.

The sales person told me that the pearl white has seven different colors of flecks in it to give it its unique color. It's beautiful, but if you ever have to have a panel repainted (after an accident, for example), I don't think any body shop will be able to match the factory color.

well I believe the pearl white is has two layers to it and the regular white has one, at least this is how Lexus and Infiniti do theirs so I would assume all car makers that offer this do the same thing.

I didn't think it "pops" enough to warrant the extra bucks.
