Switch to synthetic oil?

Hi guys,

I recently purchased a 2002 P5 with 70,000 miles on it. I am wondering if it is okay to start putting synthetic oil in it at this point (I assume conventional oil has been used in it up to this point but I can't confirm for sure)?

search buddy, there are countless posts about changing to synthetic oil.

btw its ok to change to synthetic, your engine won't melt
