Has anyone ever used or heard anything about the Perrin electronic boost control solenoid?

Does it actually do what it is supposed to and provide full electronic boost control while eliminating the need for an external electronic boost controller when an EMS is used?

should be a nice piece, looks like the same exact one that comes with the unichip. Although it doesn't show how it's adjusted.

Hmmm. Doesn't the Unichip tend to have problems with boost spikes? One of the reason to get this or an external EBC would be to control those spikes.

The unichip has problems with boost spikes due to it being programmed on a stock MSP. With FMIC, Exhaust, and other mods it will cause spikes. My unichip was spiking 18psi. Another thing you have to consider is that unichip is programmed to spike to like 15psi and taper down to 13psi around redline.
