question about tranny

Hey guys I heard there was a repair notice about the 2nd gear synchros in the 02 transmission. Is this true??? If so is there a way to upgrade it?? I had it fixed at the stealership at 50000 miles and it is doing it again now at 80000. I heard they upgraded the synchros or something in the 03 protege transmission. Any help would be great. Oh well the problem is that it grinds a little bit when you shift into second unless you let the rpm's fall to idle or double clutch. (RTM)

i think most mazda parts come with a 12K/1yr warranty......if they had replaced it with more fualty parts, i would take it back to the dealer.....can't hurt!
