Headlights(Low Beam H1)
Before perfoming this ensure the engine is off and colant is at least cool to the touch(Best judgement)
There are circular covers (with "Y" shape tabs)directly behind them. Twist them counter-clockwise to come off "note where the words "TOP" are located after you rotate them".
Once they are off you will notice a brown wire. That wire is connected to your bulbs remove that wire.
Then the clip(looks like a paper clip) to the right of the bulbs by pressing in twards the housing, pull sideways past the lil hook, then twards passenger side. Rotate the clip upward and remove the bulb.
Take note on the base of the light. It's round most of the way around and one side is flat. In order for the new one(s) to work that flat edge has to be in the same exact place (Bottom Right). when removing the bulbs don't drop or touch the glass portion with your bare hands.
Place the new bulb(s) in the housing with the flat side where It needs to be(Bottom Right). Then secure the clip and place the brown wire back on. Before installing the circular covers and celebrating, check to see if the light(s) you replace even work. *If they don't work* then pull it(them) back out and rotate them horizonataly 180 degrees. after they both work then place the circular cover.
For Passenger side follow the exact same steps above. for V6 models you may have to remove the bolt holding the coolant resivior to get better access to the cover. Both V6(AJ) and I4(L3) have the same amount of space to work with on the drivers side. Just be patient and it will come out. If you get frustrated or hands are way to big, then pull the drivers side fender liner to gain more space. Pulling the fender liners is lil more extreme and usualy last resort.
For turn Signal replacement (3157)
looking in behind headlight housing 2nd most outer flat tab is rotated (not shure clock or counter-clock) untill it stops.
Then pull twards cabin and bulb is released. Replace and place back in in reverse of dissacembly order.
