Runs great but it IDLES like crap. Changed plugs, fuel filter, thermostat, air filter, EGR valve and plug wires. It only has 44,000 miles only driven by MOM never abused. Runs like a top on Highway but as soon as you stop at a light it vibrates.
Yeah first thing I checked was the timing. The only thing I have not messed with is the Injectors not sure on how to trouble shot them. So smooth on the Highway!
These two following possible answers are from reading other forums and not from my own experience: I've heard people say the IAC(Idle Air Control)valve getting replaced cured that problem and a mechanic replaced the torque converter(on automatics) and fixed the problem. Supposedly the TC becomes slightly warped. Not enough for the eye to see but enough to adversely affect the car. I know a new IAC is mega expensive for the part, itself. I would try the cheaper option first. I don't know how expensive replacing the TC is.
