Another thread about protege sounds... 2002 P5. Most prominently when the RPM is around 1000-1200 rpm, there's a squeaky high pitched rattling sound coming from what sounds like directly in front of the drivers seat, somewhere in the engine bay. Opening the window doesn't make it any more audible. The sound immediately disappears below 1000, and I usually don't hear much of it above 1200, but do occasionally.
=/ Anyone have any idea? lol, I've been looking through the engine bay but since I can't get the appropriate RPM while I'm outside the car, I can't listen to where it's coming from.
