You knew you were speeding, and admitted to it. Don't try to fight it, just tell the judge that your foot got a little heavy, and ask him to defer the ticket. In some jurisdictions you don't even have to wait till the court date to do this. Just call the clerk and ask them about it. They'll know what to do. You have a clean record otherwise, so it shouldn't be a big deal to get it deferred.
