ordered hids for the p5 on sunday. ill have to open the lights and paint the bezels. eventually, these lights will move over the msp but thats a year away prob. thinking ill also try the ddm sealed beam modules as foglights for the p5. they use h4 bulbs, have the blockout reflector so i wont blind people with the 3000k hids ill put in them.
p5 might get the msp racing beat exhaust this weekend. was gonna swap over the msp tokikos/eibach sportlines, but i dont have suitable endlinks. not sure if the p5 has a front rollbar stock, but id have to remove the rear one, or use my msp rear links. all this adds to the list of crap the msp will need to put it back but i had planned to spend like $1000 on the suspension, $1500 on the transmission, maybe a little on the motor ect, but i need new wheels/tires too as someone sniped my msp racing harts. i guess if i got new wheels and my pope stuff/corksport exhaust were to all arrive a similar time, id pull the tranny from the p5, but im kinda liking the car as a daily.
original plan was to strip the p5 afte ra short while, make wifes black esgt look like an msp with the p5 body parts, strip any engine parts her es could use, such as her busted intake.. snipe the trans ect.
but ill prob enjoy the rusty b**** for a while.. its a shame. interior is in great shape.. but body just wasnt well cared for =(
