Replaced both rear struts today: Broke one on a speed bump yesterday. Yes, actually broke the hat on top of the strut, and the whole thing came up into the rear seat belt bracket. Drove home (slowly) like that and replaced both. This was an Edmonton car most of its life and lots o rust. Had to buy the 'quick struts' because needed the new top hats, cost me $700 for the pair with a discount! *Would have been $1000 without at Lordco, the only place with them* Then changed to my summers and did some other minor maintenance. Had to CUT the sway bar end link nuts off. That was a chore.
