GAH!! HELP ME! 1st gen dsm bov on msp

i just put a 1st gen dsm bov on my msp, in addition to my stock bpv. i thought it wouldnt stall or idle rough since i have my bpv as well, but it does. my bov leaks at idle. i tried another bov of the same kind that i had lying around, and the same thing happens. my vacuum source is this one, since i'm already tapped into the brake booster line for my boost gauge:

why would both the valves be doing this? bad vacuum source that's telling it to be open at that rpm? i really need help with this. i tried searching and didnt find a lot about dsm bov's on msp's. on the plus side, the valve sounds kick ass!

i'll try crushing the bov and let ya'll know if there's still a problem.

problem solved by crushing the bov, for anyone who cares.

nice, i've read something about that 'crushing' thing before. Not 100% sure on teh technique but I've heard the term, nice fix.......

I did it on my talon for 2 reasons, It leaked at idle, and it leaked at anything of 19psi. Crushing it fixed both issues.

Placing it in a vice and "crushing" it. It puts more tension on piston inside.
