Filter can only go one way but you are right it should not afect it, but I can jump the pump off at the reilay and make it pump. when you tern the key on you get power to the reilay to make it but their is no Electricity on the contact side make to the fual pump.

I have just got a 1992 miada I changed the fuel filter and now I can't get the fuel pump to pump. it is not geting Elec. I tock the pump out and checked it is OK can some one help. thanks
