    LOL, yes, I know Paul, he's a regular there, as am I. At FF.com I go by DeathEgg. Bought the Festy new in '88, and it still runs great! However it's very rusty, and it's time for a newer car.

    How come many of you dislike the side moldings?

    Without the side moldings, the side of the car is much too slab-sided; the moldings add a more textured, 3D look to the car to break up the monotony.

    I believe the law in Japan at the time stated that the outside mirrors had to be visible from the inside of the car through the areas of the windshield cleared by the wipers. The only place to put them to comply was on the fenders.
