    Harmonic damper issue?

Thanks. I'll just replace it and hope that's it. I will get back with the results. Now to finish up this hack-job of a swap that came in Friday night. m50b25 in an 1987 BMW e30, once I iron out what this last hacker did to the car, 190hp/250tq should feel real good in a 2600lb RWD death trap...

    Harmonic damper issue?

Yeah i have read up on all this, right down to the vtcs delete etc, random misfire goes away when the codes are reset so I also have a feeling they do with each other. What about the dampener? Do they really go bad that soon? Just called around and can get one for $100 and it will be here in...

    Harmonic damper issue?

AFAIK it's the stock flexplate on there (auto). 120k miles. Does the stock damper/pulley normally go? I have been building engines and fabricating for a minute or two and have yet to see a damper go bad - outside some yuck trying to pull it with a gear puller...

    Harmonic damper issue?

I seem to be having a shaking issue with a '01 ES. Installed a turbo last week, been driving fine, now at idle it appears that the damper is vibrating pretty and and the belts are squeaking. My first thought was that the rubber section on the damper may have been on it's way out, but I put the...

Car still can't get out if it's own way, but feels better. I have the wastegate hung open a little till I get a guage hooked up but if it's power braked it roasts the tires coming out of the hole haha.

    Boost and trans issue.

Put a turbo on the 2.0 and I am getting trans fluid from some where all over the trans. Checked alldata and this doesn't appear to have any vac lines going to the transmission (first thought was vac modulated and seeing boost). Any ideas what to look for? EDIT: Found it by accident. Never put...

LOL thanks peeps for the kind words. I thought about bypassing the TB coolant lines to feed the turbo, but for lack of time I just tapped into them - I know, I'm missing out on .5hp by letting the coolant still go through, but I made up for tht by putting some stickers promoting my website on...

The manifold is stock. I hacked up the catalytic converter and made it into an adapter. The turbo is a Garrett t3, the I/C and pipes are from evilbay. I found the turbo at a junkyard, this is the first of 2 rebuilt turbos I found at that same yard, appears that someone was having problems on...

It is low, might have to decrease the length of the adapter. We will see. This is the 6th or 7th turbo kit I built and have made brackets to put a Powerdyne on 10 Camaro/Firebirds, among other things. In house we have powdercoating equipment, a 300amp TIG welder, huge media blaster, painting...
