i bought an ion 3inch downpipe but my current exhaust set up is a 2.25' straight pipe...will connecting the 3' downpipe to the 2.25 inch exhaust defeat the purpose of it?? do i need a 3 inch exhaust to go with the downpipe in order to see gains? and how much of a gain can i expect to see?
