Has Anyone Experienced There Barrings Going Out From Lowering Your P5 Or From Putting Differant Sized Rims On ? Need Help With This Problem On My P5.

I have a 2002 P5 and want to put a lowering kit on my car. Now, if I put springs or coilovers will I have to change the shocks or would it be ok to leave the stock ones on ? If I go with springs I plan to go with the tein STech, and if I go with coilovers I plan to go with the ground control ?
