If you are patient, you will see Smart Keys with the trunk button comeup for sale on Ebay. With 1 Smart Key, you will be forced to have a second Smart Key programmed at the dealer.

My CX-9 engine RPMs were jumping up and down under constant gas pedal pressure. When the car is placed in park, the engine RPMs rise to 2k sometimes 3k! If I tap the pedal, sometimes the RPMs drop to normal idle range. I just had the throttle body replaced on my CX-9 based on research here...

I installed the rear antenna under the bumper in about 20 minutes and my valet rubber buttons on all both front doors and rear liftgate work again. The red "KEY" light on the dash is no longer illuminated as well. Cost $75.

Thanks I finally did get it apart. The dealer told me today that I need a new rear antenna. Where can I purchase it? Is this a dealer only purchase?

How does the plastic clip come apart? Screwdriver? I can not get it to come apart and cannot figure out how it disconnects.

My 07 powerliftgate recently failed. The nut on the inside of the liftgate came off falling inside the gate causing the arm to disconnect from the liftgate. I have two otherwise working cards that have the same issue of not unlocking/locking with any of the rubber valet buttons. This leads me to believe that it could be an antenna problem.

None of the rubber valet button work and the key diot light is always on. I assume one of the antenna is bad. How do I find the antenna unde the rear bumper? I have a factory installed hitch. Thanks
