Dropping any vehicle 3-4" is gonna effect camber. The idea of coilovers is that they're adjustable and can be dialed in exactly how you want it. Changing the ride height, especially that dramatically will indeed effect the geometry of the suspension. You need an alignment with just the H&R...

I had michelin X-ice (XI2 now i believe) and they were awesome. Great grip in slush and snow and never had issue's coming to a stop with those tires. Got caught in the snow once with the all seasons i drove on otherwise. Once i got my snow tires on the difference was huge. I was laughing...

I have the H&R's on my cx and i don't feel they lower it to much. For me it looks proper with the wheel gap even all the way around. It also feels more car like overall while driving, when approaching it and getting in and out. And there's still plenty of ground clearance.

For me the manual CX5 is really good. But nothing like my miata. Two totally different feels. But the 5's marriage between clutch and shifter is perfectly matched to the character of the car. Where the Miata's is sharp and quick with a snick into each gear, such is the overall experience driving...
