Im looking to sell my 2003 White MP5 it has 145000 highway miles its in excellent shape except a little rust around the rear tire wells, 5sp manual sunroof and indash cd changer. hopin i can get 4k out of it. I have too many cars and my GF says its time for some to go lol =)

My p5 is an 03 I had the same problem called the Stealership and they told me that mine wasent covered in the recall, WTF so it cost me 1200 to get fixed, now I am using 1qt of oil every fill up. gonna wait till spring and tear the top end down, I knew I should have done it my self.

There out of stock, for the price I was gonna give them a Try, I need 2 new tires and I have been running Michelins and it costs me almost 500 for 2 at sears but they last 75k+ miles and handle awsome. o well it was worth a shot

Im Close at 145k, at 141 I had to rebuild the top end due to VTCS screw and plate falling into the intake on #4, Still origional Clutch and trans. Ive ran Mobile1 10w30 synthetic since it was brand new, Ive just recently change to 10w40 due to oil consumption. Had to do both front wheel bearings...

To me it sounds like the way the alternator was designed. do you have a spec sheet on the alternator? by that you could find out what its outputs are at what rpm. also you could have got a bunk alternator. Is it possible to put an undersized pully on the alternator so it can compensate more rmps...

Ive got 145,000 miles on my 03, ran awsome untill this fall the VTCS decided to come apart and i had to rebuild the top end. Hopefully it lasts another 145k Its been pd off for almost a year now Im enjoying no car payment and I would like to keep it that way

I do believe there is a 12mm nut on the back of the caliper you have to take off, under that nut there is an allen screw you can tighten. that will turn the piston so there is less travel and tightning the parking brake. Hopefully this helps

Ive bought my 03 P5 brand new in jan 04 and I have to change my bulbs usuall 2 times a year. It seams like the first time they blow is Nov-Dec when is starts getting really cold. Then again around the end of Jan first of Feb when we have many below 0 days then there fine again till the next...
