transmission pan bolts torque and sequence

Hi all, I'm struggling to find the transmission pan torque spec and sequence for my 2010. Anyone know? Also, the pan was removed to replace the filter which came with a rubber gasket, so not sure if that changes the spec from stock which only had sealant. Thanks

AT light on, but no codes, and over revving

Thanks. Where are those causes from, and are they the only 3 possible or just 3 of "x" possible codes? Not challenging, just curious and anxious to learn. How should I proceed? 1 sounds somewhat straight forward 2 and 3, are there tests? Thanks

AT light on, but no codes, and over revving

I went to a local garage and they retrieved a P0744. Torque convertor clutch pressure control solenoid intermittent. Finally have a direction to go!

AT light on, but no codes, and over revving

I've never heard of them. Was thinking they must be a US chain, but they are in Canada too. Unfortunately none within an hour of me, but something to consider. Thanks

AT light on, but no codes, and over revving

Yes, I tried retrieving codes using a couple different brands of readers, that I've used successfully on any/every other engine related check engine lights I or anybody I know have used either for. So the questions are... is it possible to have the AT light and no code, or am I stuck going to...

AT light on, but no codes, and over revving

Hi all, I have a 2010 Mazda5 automatic with about 90k miles. Recently the AT light has come on and stayed on, even after restarting the car, and there are no codes. Only way to reset the light is disconnecting the battery. A few days to a week later, the light comes on again and no codes, even...

2010 front end clunking when turning on bumpy roads

Tried again on the swaybar bushings, and working on my back and blindly I gave up. Took the car for new tires, and get a call from the garage, saying "hey, your lower control arms are shot!" Today its going to the shop for the arms and bushings. Will report back!

2010 front end clunking when turning on bumpy roads

I finally had a bit of time to work on this. I was armed with new stabilizer links and sway bar bushings. Stabilizer links were a piece of cake. Struggled with good access to the sway bar bushings, and ran out of time. So far with new stabilizer links, still have the noise. Will have to find...

2010 front end clunking when turning on bumpy roads

Guys, I really appreciate your comments, but I've always been able to feel play in whatever suspension part is worn or hear noise when banging on it. I too believe in starting cheap and simple, but those bushings which exhibit no play, and look like a real freakin pain in the arse (time...

2010 front end clunking when turning on bumpy roads

Thanks. I don't want to just start changing things hoping to solve it. Seeing as everything I can check appears tight, and can't really test the struts, maybe that's where I start... and hopefully finish!

2010 front end clunking when turning on bumpy roads

Do you know what exactly was wrong with the struts? Were they leaking? Mine are dry. Still can't figure out why the noise is only there when the wheel is turned and fine when the wheel is straight.

2010 front end clunking when turning on bumpy roads

Hi all, per the title. Its a 2010 with 140,000kms (80,000 miles). Bought it used about a year ago, so not sure on previous repair history. When driving straight and even over some bumps, the front end is relatively quiet. However when turning (in either direction) and driving over bumps, the...

P5 'winter' wheels and tires installed *pics*

I'm looking to use a slightly different looking P5 rim as winters. They are 16's with 50mm offset. The stock M5 rims are 52.5mm. Any idea if this will be a problem? Thanks

    need help with rim offsets

I'm new to the forum and a new Mazda owner. Purchased a Mazda 5 that came with garbage 17" Toyo tires. I'm looking to get 205 55 16 snows and instead of getting black steel wheels have found a nice looking set of 2003 Protege ES rims (16"). I've read on this forum the 17's on the car are 52.5mm...
