Help - hesitation/bucking in higher gears

Good luck. My car has thrown a code once through every issue. If the car is not stalling, I doubt it's the oil pressure. Hopefully the engineer will be able to shed some light on the issue.

Help - hesitation/bucking in higher gears

This is exactly what they did with mine. Sent the engineer out to do a thorough inspection with equipment the dealer just doesn't have. Another question for you too, has the car ever stalled randomly on you???

Help - hesitation/bucking in higher gears

Best of luck. I hope the dealership is on your side. I was lucky that my service guy took real good care of me, and would fight anything that home office tried to place blame elsewhere. They even sent a technician out to look for signs of abuse and possible mods, which I never had, the car...

Help - hesitation/bucking in higher gears

Had similar issues with mine. Dealer did everything to it. New High Pressure Fuel Pump, MAF, O2, reflashed a million times, told me bad gas too. I also had 2 coil packs go, replaced spark plugs, and still there was nothing. I had all other TSB's performed including the clutch replacement...

    my mazda

Hit and runs suck. Some people just have no respect! I have been hit twice, once in the @$$ end by a DB 16 year old in mommy's car not paying attention, and once was a minor hit and run that F'd my rear fender right over the wheel well. Crumpled and took the paint off down to the metal. I...

    MS6 Amp location tip

Holy Crap, that is heavy for one 10! I didn't care about weight, I am not racing my car at all, so it didn't matter to me how heavy it was. I have an extra piece of MDF across the rear brace that my amp is mounted to as well, so I am very heavy back there. That and all my golf and baseball...

    MS6 Amp location tip

I have a full Kenwood setup, both speakers and amp. I have had good experiences with Kenwood. Definitely not pro level either, but does the job very well. I was running Rockford Punch 10's in my Explorer, but surprisingly found the Kenwoods hit cleaner. A buddy of mine ran some Kicker Comps...

    MS6 Amp location tip

Haha! Lol, I agree with all the above! I have my gains turned way down, and I dont go above a volume of around 18, so it all stays nice and clear, and not harsh on the factory speakers!

    Bose?

My old (2005) 6i had the tweeters in front and it was a non Bose system. All the Bose systems also had the chrome emblem over the grille. If someone jacked the Bose system, I doubt they would have removed the emblems. If there is no hole for the sub in the rear deck, it never had one. Under...

    Mazdaspeed6 Clutch Fix TSB

Did you finally find a dealer you like? I know I recommended a dealer up here in NH a while back for you, but the trip would be long. Hope it all works out for you!

    Mazdaspeed6 Clutch Fix TSB

I will say that mine was done at 30k miles, and I had no issues in getting it covered under warranty. However, it is true that Mazda (home office, not the dealer) can deny the warranty repair if they feel there is not sufficient evidence that the issue is related to the TSB. The dealer doing...

    MS6 Amp location tip

That's a great idea with the wing nut. Do you have a noticeable sound difference with the speaker facing up? I played around with my setup, facing the seat, sitting up, and facing the rear. I have found that facing the rear gives the best sound quality. If I didn't get such a great deal on...

    MS6 Amp location tip

My ghetto setup works, but even before I put all that crap back there, it didn't slide much at all. Much different having a dual 12 enclosure back there though. Not much room for it to slide anyway. I like you're idea of mounting tabs. Easy to install and remove if need be. That worked...

anyone looking to convert into 2 tone interior

Wow, I would figured he would atleast come back with a counter offer. That would have been a sweet deal if he agreed to it!

    MS6 Amp location tip

Not in mine. I always have my golf clubs in the car, which sit in front of the box itself prevent it from tipping over or sliding forward. I usually wedge a football inbetween the box and the clubs to prevent anything from poking the subs. I will try and post a pic of what it looks...

anyone looking to convert into 2 tone interior

I would agree with that as well. And if doing the custom red and black, I would say the same. Black on the outside, red in the middle. And yes, I think that would look really good on the interior of the Red Speed. I would also want to to see the door panels done in the red as well!

I'm no good with electronics...please help...

+1 ^^ also, if you take it to a shop and something gets fried, they are liable! I have done my own installs in the past, but after blowing an amp, I leave it to the pros.

    tran noise in ms6

That is strange to feel it at those exact speeds. Mine had made a noise at low speeds only and it turned out to be a loose bolt. The dealer re-torqued it and all was good. Not sure if that's it, but just a thought.

anyone looking to convert into 2 tone interior

Sure, but I bet you'd be paying a crapload to have them custom fabricated and stitched together! That would look pretty nice on your red speed!
