    Corksport FMIC installed with review and pics

    u are correct young grasshopper. i ran 2.8" ID / 3.0" ID MAF on my own custom FMIC and the car idled and surged like s***. Couldn't rev over 4K rpms. i then had a company make me the correct 2.625" ID MAF housing and the car ran PERFECT with no issues. EDIT: the corksport FMIC looks AMAZING...

    Smog Legal Exhaust

    worry about that in 5 years when you have to smog the vehicle. all cars built in 2004 and later are smog exempt for 5 years.

    Rear MM

    are you worried about the tranny mount breaking or the rear motor mount? the tranny mount is the one that has recalled. haven't seen a rear motor mount fail/break. if you tranny mount fails, your engine will be tilted to the driver side front headlight.

    Cosmic blue is specific to MS3's ... its like a sunset blue/gray color ... if that makes sense. Now, if you move to australia/new zealand, they have Aurora Blue (the bright blue color) available there for MS3's ... (called MPS there i believe)

    correct. the purpose of an IC is for AIR to run through it, not get sucked in by the intercooler. The intercooler is a completely closed off system. Like CB08MS3 said, the only way to suck up water, is to have a very nasty leak. and even then, it might pull up mist, not large amounts of water.

    the ducting weighs all of 1-2 lbs. there is no use in removing it.

    not if you have a short ram intake. think about it, air enters through the intake, passes through the turbo ... go through hot side piping, then passes through intercooler, then goes through the cold side pipe, then passes through throttle body/plate which is connected to the intake manifold...

    hydro lock from a FMIC ? explain how that happens ? if you have a SRI, you should have nothing to worry about. p.s. -- remember, the piping/intercooler hold pressure. it should be free of leaks and it certainly doesn't act as an intake.

    nice. yeah, keep the ducting on. just be careful, the piping can get CRAZY hott and if its touching the ducting, it may warp or melt it. other then that, love your setup. that ATP Turbo Inlet is awesome !!! (drinks)

    if it fits without harming anything, keep the ducting on. the black clips are a PAIN IN THE (butt)

    you actually have one on your car right now, its just not very audible. pop the hood and if you look at the bottom right hand corner of the intercooler, you will see a black plastic piece, this is your BPV (by pass valve)

    35% is too light IMO and 20% is too dark. If i had to choose (and i like uniform, not diff % tints on front and back) I would go with 28% tint all around. :-)

    The BEST write up EVER! Major Props To Rotus ... He is a master at what he does !!! If done properly, Rotus's write up, along with shortening of the lever, can result in shifts like this Angle 2 of CaSHMeRe and blkspd3 STS.

    really ? that stinks. u would think if it fit the stocker, it would fit Cobb since their's fits the stocker ... hmmm...
