I plugged in a Scan Guage II on the CX-7. It seems like that I can get ~30-35mpg while cruisng at this speed. Any thoughts>?

I am surpised no else have a thought on this.

I talked to service guy at the dealership. They said I need to do a transmission flush every 30,000 miles at $180 for the service. I studied the manual and it does not give an interval for transmission oil change. What are your thoughts?

I told the dealer about the clunk. They said they can't hear it.. oh well.. we will wait till it gets louder... then i bring it back.

I been getting 23-25 miles per gallon consistently. 2,200 miles so far. I drive it very gingerly and mostly on highway.

Clunk.. I hear it as well... Parking to reverse and well as parking to first gear... we will see when I bring it in.

Isn't there a label on the side of the door with the build date?

So with the CX-7 having a timing chain does that means we do not need to change the chain. We just need to wait for it it break first before changing it right? So I assume it is not a interference engine. Any news on when the transmission oil needs to be changed?
