    1999 Corvette vs 2000 S2000

Wow, you have posted not one, but two completely wrong statements. 1) You can buy a complete Comptech supercharger kit including the Apexi Vafc to control the fuel for less than $4500. 2) There are no problems with the S2000's stock forged rods. There have been some S2000's, (I can count...

    flashing hazards

Actually, the regular corvettes aren't so hot. They handle great, but not near what the MP3 is capable of. The MP3 is actually capable of handling better than the ZO6, but only in very few areas. The ZO6 is a much more well rounded handling car than the MP3, but the MP3 can still beat it in a...

    flashing hazards

I don't have any of those, and I still get dumb kids trying to race me all the time. It's the paint on my car that does it. The yellow paint attracts bugs after you wash it, and stupid kids all the time. The funny thing is when it attracts Corvetts to try to race me. I never race any kids, but...

    J&S for Retarding Timing

Ok, here's another thought that no one has thought of yet. If this is true about the J&S being able to basically put our ECU in open loop about 95% of the time, in theory, the Apexi S-AFC should now work for modifying our fuel maps. Am I right on this, I think I am? The only reason it didn't...

Pics of my Turbo MP3 - Dialup Beware

A spoiler that would look really nice is one similar to the stock spoiler that comes on the S2000. It's more like a "trunk lip" than a spoiler. That would look sweet!

Pics of my Turbo MP3 - Dialup Beware

Why did you take out the fog lights? The IC pipes can easily be made to fit behind the washer fluid tank on the passenger side and behind the fender on the driver's side. That's what "my friend";) did in his yellow turbo MP3. You do have to cut holes in the lower interior of the engine bay...

    What does it all mean?

I am thinking it's your oil seals on the turbo. You may want to use that warranty on it.

The BOV is your problem. There's no "might do the trick" to it. That IS your problem. Lots of people are getting these BOV's and letting them vent to the atmosphere, and wondering why their car is studdering and stalling. Hello,....your car is injecting the gas for much more air that it's not...

    ******* Oil Filter...HELP!

Maybe if you have the strength of a 10 year old girl.(rofl):D I have never in my life used a filter wrench. The filter is hard to get off after it has been on there for a few months, but I can always get it.

    ******* Oil Filter...HELP!

You should never use a "filter wrench". An oil filter does not need to be that tight. You should tighten it until it starts to resist, then tighten about 1/8th turn after that. Not 1/4 turn, 1/8th turn. You should never tighten it enough where you need a tool other than your bare hand to get it off.

    Iq Tests

I took one of those one time and scored a 161. So I really don't think they are accurate. Einstein had a 162 IQ, that can put it into perspective for you. I do know that when I was in the second grade, I scored a 135 + or - 5 though. I was tested to be put in the TAG program. I know your IQ goes...

    Why a Turbo Timer?

The biggest fact here is that this subject has been blown out of proportion by tuners. If you go up to any mechanical engineer or aerospace engineer who know the things they build like the backs of their hands, they will all say that newer turbos, especially watercooled turbos do not need...

    Why a Turbo Timer?

If you have the MSp the 30 seconds isn't needed. I think you missed the above post where I said that a water cooled turbo doesn't need any extra cooling. It's your money though, you can waste it as you see fit.:D

Even MAZDA is saying there are a lot of 2003's Left!

I think Mazda's sales are starting to slide down the cliff. With the market and the economy the way it is right now, one and two year old used cars are VERY CHEAP! Audi TT: You can get a 2000 or 2001 year model Audi TT with less than 40,000 miles for $19,000 to $22,000 depending on the...
