CPE CAT failure - CEL code P0421

Spoke to Josh about this, he said to contact Jordan and find out about a way to clean out the CAT... Failing that, there's the resistor trick, replacement CAT sent to me, or send off my DP to get a new CAT welded in.

CPE CAT failure - CEL code P0421

I got the CEL again. Guess I'll take another look at the O2 sensor. But I am going to call CPE nevertheless. Maybe the upstream CAT is not working properly.

CPE CAT failure - CEL code P0421

Well, I did the oil change yesterday. Once I had the car jacked up, I went back to the O2 sensor at the bottom of the downpipe and started unscrewing it. It twisted the attached wires somewhat, but not violently enough that I considered having to undo the other end (thank God)! Once it popped...

CPE CAT failure - CEL code P0421

Sorry guys, no updates as of yet. The last month has been a little busy for me. I got married and went oin my honeymoon, so that took a fair amount of my time! (butthump) However, the odometer says that it's about time for an oil change, so I will be taking a look at the O2 sensor when I get...

what would be the best way to clean an O2 sensor? Any typical cleaning agents I should be aware of that do a good job?

CPE CAT failure - CEL code P0421

Silly question... as I have not been under my car that much other than to change the oil and do the Engine mount upgrade... but where is the O2 sensor? Is it easily accessible/replaceable/cleanable? I've searched the forums and can't find a quick answer.

CPE CAT failure - CEL code P0421

So after about a year of driving with the CPE DP and Catback exhaust (single pipe), I started throwing CEL's for no reason. It would come up for a few hours, then go away. A few days later, it would come back. It has been intermittent now for a few months. I took it into my dealer to get the...

thanks man! :) I was going to the gym that day. I always like driving around and seeing other Speed6's. You don't see them that often, but when I notice another one and I pull up beside, there's usually a friendly head nod or comment.

That was one of the main reasons for going black... less noticeable brake dust. And yeah, it's easy to pop off the Mazda cap and pop it back in. They needed it off anyways, due to the high temperatures involved with powder-coating. It would've melted the cap anyways. Looks good, especially...

Where did the Smoked Rear Reflector HOW TO go?

Like the title says.... I just got my rear smoked LED reflectors from RPM today, and I know I saw an install on this site somewhere... but I cannot find it now. Anyone have a copy, or know where it is? I've emailed the RPM guys but I'm hoping someone here can let me know sooner, as I have...

powder-coated "mirror black". I love the look, especially when they're all shined up. The red calipers give a good contrast too.
