Any one know what the CEL code P2177 is.... I think that it is a vacuum leak.... It only happens when car is loaded and or taking a circular onramp at a high speed... Any help is appreciated..;)

just got my thule aero racks.... debated on getting the whispbars but the shipping to hawaii would have added 25%.. will post pics after a wash... very minimal noise and feel more resistance at higher speeds.... overall love the look of the aero bars

Here's a quick pic..... 18x7.5 48+ MRR HR3's with 225/45/18 BFG's..... went with the taller side wall to minimize pothole damage.... got the tires at costco mounted and installed for less than $700..... Costco guys at Iwilei rock!..... looks lower in back due to the stock 17's still...

While washing the 5 found 5 scratches on the pass front fender... someone keyed the 5! WTF.... dude... its not a sports car.. what's up with that...

I wondered how the cx rims would look on the 5. Not bad...

I remember someone putting the MS3 steering wheel on with no problem. As for the airbag.. I'm not sure.. Take a look, I believe the air bag is the same size so you won't have to switch them out.... BTW- your 5 is looking SICK!

what drop do you have redaxelaspeed? Hows the ride? Looks tight..

Did everything just cut out or did the tree of lights start going on prior to the total shut down? I had an alternator failure which killed the new battery and shut my 5 down... I'd take it to another mazda dealer or call the mazda service number and report the problem...

It's been workin fine so far... thanks for the comments... most likely be keeping the 5 for me... i can deal with the problems... owned a 84 vette for over 18 years and never failed and had something go wrong every year. Probably getting the wife a Toyota Venza in the next year or so...

yup.. the alternator went... wife's not too happy with a 3 yr old car with 25k miles breaking down... We've had all kinds of issues with the dealer and quite honestly... I think we are going with a toyota or honda next...

Sorry guys.... its been a while... I had a problem with the battery last week... my wife was driving out of her parking structure and all the lights on the dash went on... the car then died... I switched out the battery and all was good... till the next day.. damn batt light came back on...

Mine finally died tonight.... 3 yrs and 2 mos the car was in service in Nov and they said the battery was about to go... they were only going to give me $20 on the prorate and charge me $150 for the battery... I'd rather buy and Optima red top instead... I couldn't located the red top so...
