Cleaning the EGR isn't going to give you any HP. Throttle body spacers and the like are also questionable. I think the proven gainers on our cars are headers and turbo. The rest I would only do if you are trying to tweak every conceivable ounce of power.

I would try the dealer first for the clip as stated above. I don't know what "machining" a clip means, and I'm pretty sure they are held on by plastic and not metal.

One of the more annoying features of the P5 IMO. Best cluster lights out there are in the Accord. Bright as the sun day or night.

Hazing on the inside should not be an issue unless your seals have been compromised badly.

No, it does not. The LOC is probably tapped in to one of the speaker outputs. The "GROM" device you describe will interface with the stock wiring harness.
