Holy Crap! I started this thread 2 years ago. That Protocrap has been gone for some time now. Tired of putting tranny after tranny in it, and never boosted over 8 lbs. I am now running my Miata with the same Turbo at 16lbs with no problems(crazy)

This one I beleive to be a bad shift fork. This tranny was out of a 2001, which I think had bad shift forks didn't it. The last one I totally shattered throwing gears thru the case. Good thing is that this one was covered in the warranty from the salvage yard, they are sending me another one...

You guys keep forgetting that I run drag tires on this vehicle. Before the tranny problems I was snapping axles, but now with the chrome moly axles, the tranny can't keep up. Street use on street tires may be fine due to the lack of adhesion in the street tires, but for TRUE drag applications...
