Hello! If you're looking for this you probably already know what it is. Plug and play controller for the MSP, featuring fuel, timing, and boost control. Switchable maps, and switchable electronic boost controller. The unit was purchased used from another member on the forum. I installed it...

    A Few questions......

For what it is worth, while a smoke test might reveal additional problems, I think the root of his issue is the faulty WGA. A torn diaphragm results in a massive vacuum leak... while there may be other issues that may or may not be diagnosed by a smoke test, there isn't much point in doing...

    A Few questions......

Replace the wastegate first for sure. That is a definite problem with the car, it will not be running correctly until you fix it. I thought I sent you a PM, i'll try and send it again.

    Forge Wastegate Actuator adjustment question

Yes, I've never done it but it seems as though it is a simple task that can be done while the unit is still mounted to the car. Its just a series of hex bolts on the head of the unit that need to be loosened. EDIT: it looks like clearance while on the car may be a bit difficult, because of the...

    Vaccum leak

FWIW, my vacuum reading only ever hits 20 when properly working. Check your vacuum hoses for anything disconnected or cracked. Do you have stock intercooler piping still? If so it is prone to cracking. If not, check all your couplers and make sure they're tight. Also, blow into your...

    A Few questions......

Having a massive vacuum leak (IE, a torn diaphragm in your WGA), will cause all manner of problems with your tune, and is not something you can tune out with the SSAFC. Good call on not going over 10 psi.

    Help LSD?!?!

I agree, it sounds like the LSD. I paid more than that for mine... but I bought an Mfactory LSD so it wouldn't break again, a new clutch (exedy stage 1), and of course they had to remove tons of metal shavings from the transmission and replace several bearings that were probably shot due to...

    Forge Wastegate Actuator adjustment question

The adjustment happens via the screw on the arm. Although, if my memory serves me correctly I had to have the arm pushed all the way out to get it to fit. The next adjustment you can do is by putting different springs on it. FWIW, my actuator hits 5-6 psi.

    Diagnosing a rattle?

I don't have a ton of heat shields left on the car, but I will check those for sure. I don't think it is anything directly related to the hardware on the motor mounts, since it has happened with two separate installs of motor mounts.

Forge WGA vs manual boost controller

I've had both the ATP and the Forge. My ATP only lasted about 25K miles, if memory serves correctly. I have had zero issues with the forge, and it's been on for a longer period of time. My boost is right about 5 psi with the stock spring. You can adjust to different levels with different...

    A Few questions......

I was just mentioning that because running unregulated boost is dangerous on any car, and especially this one. Seeing 15 psi just once can be enough to pop the motor, so you may have put a lot of stress on your parts. I like ordering from ***********************. Sam, who owns the company, is...
