I'm evaluating replacing the original (engine) air filter with a K&N air filter. My CX-5 is turbo, so there would be any noticeable difference in performance that is worth changing or should I keep the original?

I just purchased a brand new Crystal Soul Red CX5 Signature and I want to know what product should I apply to the paint after I do its first wash at home? Should I go with a paint sealer like Jet Seal or a good synthetic wax like Meguiars' Ultimate Wax?
