What did you pay for your CX-5?

That falls in line what my experience, and the way they give the breakdown doesn't call that out at all. It just shows as a difference on the 'sales price'. I'll be reaching out to my CU to see about refinancing, 3.9% -> 3.25% isn't huge but still nothing to sneeze at.

What did you pay for your CX-5?

The quote they gave me for 0% down had a different OTD value of 34,500, saying something about additional dealer rebates beyond the 1500 Mazda loyalty that didn't work in coordination with the 0% offer. After down payment, the monthly payment difference for higher APR/lower OTD was $10/mo less...

What did you pay for your CX-5?

I've been following this forum for years now, saved responsibly and waited patiently. It seemed like the time was right, and I finally got my dream CX-5 last night. 2020 CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve, Eternal Blue, purchased in Maryland. MSRP: $36,325 (with freight) Dealer Discount: -4,693.43...

    2019 CX-5. High pitch whine

Is it like the sound a tube TV would make when turning it on but louder? Could be capacitor whine, electrical issue. Does it occur if you turn off the dome lights? Does it only happen if the vehicle has been recently turned off? So if you get in, close the door, wait 5 seconds, and open the...

    CX-8 in Malaysia?

    Probably. I didn't realize there was a CX-8 forum, let alone a CX-8. Sorry!

    CX-8 in Malaysia?

https://paultan.org/2019/10/01/2019-mazda-cx-8-ckd-now-officially-open-for-booking/ May go to other nearby regions. I assume it's not headed for the US.

    2016.5 CX-5 and Android Auto

I've used Android Auto both on my phone and on a rental. Basically it mirrors some of your phone display onto the screen with specially crafted apps. So yes - you can have Google Maps or Waze to perform navigation using the CX5 screen. You'd use the Google Maps/Waze interface to enter the...

    Phone button stopped working

Could be that the charging ports had a 'soft' or resettable fuse that cleared after power is removed to the system for some time. Could be that pulling the fuses or disconnecting the battery for long enough got things working again.

    2019 CX-5 Diesel

Maryland for that matter, whenever it's over 80 the humidity is 70% or higher as late. Also record breaking 70 inches of rain last year. This thing will probably do worse than the CX3.

2017~2024 Updated review on my 19 Signature

All this talk makes me wonder. I've seen recent reviews of the 2019 Mazda3 saying that the infotainment has been improved, and a quick glance at Youtube shows that the UI certainly looks a bit updated. I wonder if that will find its way into the 2020 cx5, or if it will wait until a refresh?

    2016.5 suspension noise, dealer woes

I haven't experienced this myself, but is there another dealer nearby you could take it to? They might be a bit more motivated to identify and fix the problem.

Planning on making my purchase towards the end of the year and I'm in the same area - which dealer was this?

2019 CX-5 signature / Mazda Roadside Assistance story (long)

I'm usually at 9/3 since that's a naturally comfortable place for my hands on the 2011 Mazda3. I didn't read the details enough to see the difference between push up/pull down steering, I guess I'm usually pull down? Its such second nature at this point I can't really tell you. If the airbag...

2019 CX-5 signature / Mazda Roadside Assistance story (long)

Seconding what others have said in that this is dealer claptrap. NTSHA now recommends 9/3 or 8/4: https://www.nhtsa.gov/sites/nhtsa.dot.gov/files/steeringtechniques.pdf AAA says so too: https://www.cars.com/articles/2013/02/aaa-get-the-right-grip-on-your-steering-wheel/...

What Other Cars Do You Have Beside Your CX-5?

Guess I can chalk that up to salt corrosion and not washing the undercarriage regularly when the roads are treated. At least so far my 3 has been good, barely changed the washing habits though. With my luck, now that I've mentioned it, and given the last 2 years of notable (1k) repairs, I'll...

What Other Cars Do You Have Beside Your CX-5?

Nice! My previous was 97 LS, learned stick in that car. Managed to keep the original clutch, traded it in at 160k when I get my Mazda3 in 2010. I still miss it a bit. Did yours have issues with the heat shield tearing off and the exhaust rusting out quickly? I know I could've taken better care...
