I would have them replace the bumber, take off the crappy Hitch and give you your money back. Then go somewhere else to get a hitch that does not require your bumber to be Cut. I got one installed on my 2018 CX-5 and they did NOT cut the bumber.

it's one of those links that wants you to install and app, allow notifications, etc.... I'll pass, unless someone can confirm it's "safe" to do.

I wonder if the cost would go down if we did the software upgrade ahead of time, then got the dealer to just do the hardware part... I can't see it taking 2 hours to do just the hardware part...
