Thanks pcb! I suspect it*s the fuel pump. I had similar issues with my Alfas in the past...well...any issue I*ve had with any car, I*ve had with my Alfas. Thanks for the heads up on the other fixes though - I*ll check them out.

Doubt it*s a fuse as the car will start - just takes a longer cranking period to get it going.

The Mustard Nugget developed an unwillingness to start recently. Typically on hot start. I changed the battery as it was dying, and changed the plugs as well. The gaps on the old plugs were much wider than the new ones and they were really white, so I was hopeful the problem would be sorted...

Im a bit of a Honda guy and if you want to race, Id suggest an EG Civic or better yet, a DC2 Integra

That*s right - it*s all part of a bigger picture, and they add up. Did you find that the UDP probably gives more results than the lightened pulleys?

From what I*ve experienced, the gains aren*t noticeable with lightened pulleys alone and my (more objective) friends have also said the same. However, when I converted my Type R to a track only car (no A/C) and taking into account lightened flywheel and lightened pulleys, you do notice that...
