    What other cars did you look at before getting your CX-5?

    CR-V, RAV4, Outback, Impreza and Envision. I did not want a small displacement turbo. I did not want a CVT. I did not want touch-screen for standard controls.

    What did you pay for your CX-5?

    I loaded up an AWD Touring with all the electronic toys, including Soul Red, and was out the door for $27,2xx USD before taxes, title and license, on the last day of the quarter/half. I think that I did okay.

    Based on this thread, my first stop after picking up my new CX-5 at the dealer ... was a trip to the detail shop to have them (clear) wrap the front fascia, hood, mirrors and rear bumper (lift-over).
