I am trying to get access to the serial port so I can allow tweaks via USB access. The last firmware update closed root access from the USB. By connecting via serial port, I would be able to recreate that access.

Hi, I am interested in this as well. I am trying to get access to the serial port of the infotainment system. unlike other Mazda models, the infotainment system does not appear to slide of once the AC strip cover is removed. So, I would really appreciate any help.
