I think you need to track it several tanks since sometimes you might put a little more or a little less fuel on each fill up if you are one to round up the price once the pump clicks. I have not followed mine to much but my 2012 Mazda 3 was fairly close if I did a multi tank average.

Also people need to remember no matter how good the technology is or the AWD system is, nothing can defeat the laws of physics and if they need a vehicle to get through 6 feet of snow and and ice on a 60 degree slope, then they need to buy a snowcat.

In my 2016.5 it has a north up option in the settings. You will have to be not moving to get to most of the settings.

I had a 2012 Mazda 3 and I traded it in for a 2016.5 touring AWD and have not looked back. Mileage is not that much less than the 3 and the insurance was less. We had some snow and freezing rain here and I live a steep hill, my CX5 did not even flinch and it has the stock tires.

I cannot speak to the CX 5 but my wife's 2007 Mazda 3 it was the thermostat at year 8 and the alternator last year. This year, it was one of the motor mounts was leaking and was replaced.

I have a 2016.5 touring, not dual zone. If you go CPO you get an extra year bumper to bumper warranty on top of what is left of the original warranty, mine was a dealer loaner with 2000 miles and was sold as a CPO.
