Ok. Nevermind I just went with the metra color code and hooked up one speaker. IT POWERED UP AND I HEAR MUSIC!!!! Yea! Im going to finish it up tomorrow. If any one has questions, about the stuff I used feel free to ask. Impatience paid off once for me. LOL.

I have just contacted Metra, but I know I wont get a response until tomorrow. I want to put it in now! Oh well, guess Ill go to sleep and have nightmares about wiring stereos tonight. LOL. I appreciate any responses. Thanks guys.

Oh, by the way this is my first stereo install. Im replacing the factory stereo with a nice pioneer double din stereo. Ive already got the back up camera installed (and it works, thank god) and Im ready to go go go.

The only wire color that seems to match is the ground. Which I guess thats a good thing. LOL. Do you think I should just ignore the colors on my OEM Mazda wiring harness, and just use the color coded wires on the metro? I dont own a set of ramps, but I was able to take a close look for any clearance issues. Every thing looks ok. I might want to add, that I dont hear the noise when I first start driving. It usually take about 10 to 15 minutes of driving before the sound appears. As if something needs to warm up...

Thanks thaxman. I have a day off coming up in 3 days. I will take a look at that. If the weights are hitting the abs sensor, I am asumeing that I should see some damage on the weights or sensor. Ill report back next week.

Well, I replaced cv shaft on both sides now and the transaxle seal on the left side. Took tires, brakes and rotor off on left rear. Turned the hub by hand and heard a definite grinding noise coming from the rear wheel bearing hub assembly. That has probably been the source of my ticking noise...

P. S. Drained 3 quarts of tranny fluid and replaced with new along with some lubeguard platinum and some Mobil one. Old fluid was dark but didn't smell burnt or anything.

Transaxle seal replaced and cv drive shaft back in. Everything cleaned and tightened to torque specs. Took her for a spin, still ticking. Raised one rear tire, spun it, heard a slight ticking sound from there. Going to take off tires on the rear, clean the brakes and look for "stuff". Anybody...
