I have about 245K on my Protg5. The water pump is leaking so I am replacing it and the timing belt which may be the original one. Do I need to also replace the seal on the crankshaft?
I am losing coolant. My overflow reservoir is good. I put the tester on the radiator and pumped it up to 17.8 psi and ti wont hold pressure, but cannot see any coolant leaking anywhere while pressurized.

Thanks, I tried that and think I have it right. Not squealing so must be tight enough. Can turn it sideways, so not too tight either. Not sure how many alternators came before this, it has 236,000 miles on it and I only account for 80,000 of those.
