Well, I think if anything goes wrong with the engine, (oil related), they will be responsible for it. Maybe a quick note to Mazda to ask if they know the brand that particular dealership use may help.

Hi @kone, AC fan will be at the same speed as when you turned off the engine. Same will apply for the temperature setting. The rear defroster will need to be turned on manually when you get in the car, since the heating element is on a timer that activate when you push the switch. [emoji3]

Many posts here about changing the battery. Check them out and if you are under 3 years, 36k, warranty will take place and will be free.

I guess that like an old pc that had the 2032 coin battery, to keep the date and time you had to replace it every 3-5 years and could be in a place hard to reach to do that.

You got the best out of a battery and now looks like it will fail you anytime, anywhere. Before that happen, replace it.

As Craigo said, use a different cable and if possible an original Apple. Many new cars are very selective when using generic cables, giving different errors or not recognizing the device.

Took it to the dealer for the NYS yearly inspection, safety only. Surprised that was free, normally they charge $10 for the first year.
