Yes, Torque Pro. I got the setting from somewhere on this forum. These are the settings I using: OBD2 Mode and PID: 221e1c Scale factor: x1 Equation: ((A*256)+B)*(63/10)/100 OBD Header: TCM

I had thought of that but I'm not 100% sure yet if I'm going to trade in the CX-9 for something with higher towing capacity. I didn't want to cut off the button and find out later that I need it (although I doubt I would need that much). But it's a good idea.

Just got back from a longer trip with some pretty hilly roads. The CX-9 tows great but I'm beginning to think that I'm pushing the limits too much with my trailer. The dry weight of the trailer is 2620 lbs and I have about 300 lbs of gear added. I have not confirmed the weight on a scale but...

I've never towed anything larger than a small pop-up so I probably don't don't realize how good the TSA. If it was not there then I'd probably notice it. I've been out with my trailer a few times now and the CX-9 is towing great. I don't notice any swaying or any issues with towing so far...

Without the trailer temps are 180 to 190. It seems like the converter is locking out in 5th (when I press on the gas the rpms do not go up). Next time I'll try leaving in 6th and see if that makes a difference. It's also possible that the temps I'm reading with the OBDII gauge are not real...

Do you mean an external cooler that came as part of the towing package or did you have an additional cooler added?

I have considered having an external transmission cooler installed. The shop estimated 425 to do the install which seems high. Could you tell me what you installed?
