Yes I took out the caliper pin bolts on mine and it is dual piston as you said. I thought you had access to shop manual pages on the cx-9 as well .. but no problem. I cross referenced front caliper part number in my cx-9 and it is the same on 2019 cx-5 GT reserve and signature. So I’m good...

So as per ngk.com , there is no NGK spark plug for the newer cx9??

Amazon shows NGK 94124 mentioned above as NOT a Fit for 2016 cx 9. so what is the reference for NGK? What about Bosch? Do we have to get the dealer ones @ $25 per spark plug? Thanks.

2016 cx 9 - has 70K miles - dealer suggested spark plugs change- any instructions floating around for the newer (post 2016) cx-9 how to get to the plugs and any special instructions... anything else to replace together? thanks.

Anyone can point me to the newer cx-9 workshop manual -- looking for the 2016 CX-9 Touring - I'd think the newer CX-5 also very similar. At least the instructions to replace front brake pads on the 2016 .. anything to be aware of (like the maintenance mode for rear brakes..)? Also want to know...

FYI ..(different data point): I disconnected battery negative but did not disconnect epb motor after going to maintenance mode and had no issues. (This was on a 2016 cx 9).

blackcx5, yes I was referring to your post #22 in the other thread. Thanks for posting that and hope you fixed your brake issue without too much trouble. Thanks to your post I had read that issue before doing mine. Just to be on the safe side, I also did press the brake pedal a few times...

I am able to use the universal adapter on the 2016 cx 9 but am concerned tightening a chain around the plastic brake reservoir... I have been tightening just enough to hold pressure (around 15 psi). Anyway if anyone was able to buy a direct fit adapter for the 2016 cx 9, I'd rather go with that...

Thanks for the reply. I just fitted the universal adapter with the chain and it held pressure. I did 15psi and it didn't lose pressure. Since the brake reservoir is small I kept only 5 links of the chain between the two hooks at the area just below the reservoir cap and was able to tighten...

I know it has been months... I have the same question. There is always the universal cap that could be fitted to work (butterfly nut tightens the chains attached to two bolt hooks) but I also want to know if there is an adapter that is specified for the 2016 cx-9

Yes I checked out a Sig trim and it has a very nice interior. Congrats! Good to know '17 will be here soon so that I can make the decision on the trim.
