I think the fog lights were an afterthought by the designers. I haven't seen fog lights this small in a car, I had to look for them when I first saw the CX-9. Couldn't they have made it at least 3 times larger?

+1 I got my Signature a month ago for $40.8K before TTL and if I remember correctly someone here got a Signature for just below $40K shortly after I got mine. Some folks might be OK in this scenario but there is no way I'd buy a "used car" with 5700 miles for $2K less than the brand new car price.

I've brought my CX-9 to Lake Tahoe a couple times this past few weeks and I have no complaints about the engine and transmission. I find both more than adequate.

I like to mount my snowboards outside of the bindings for maximum stability but because the OEM crossbars are not far enough, I can't do this. I'm also now waiting for confirmations from Yakima or Thule for their solutions. Hopefully they will do this soon.

Agreed! We all know the screen is the interface to many settings for the car. How can Mazda expect a customer to just live with that condition? At a minimum, a working loaner should've been offered.

I just read in the manual that "flexible setting" is only for the US and Puerto Rico. Seeing that you're in Mexico your only options are "fixed setting" or "off setting below". Have you tried this reset method?

Congrats! When I picked my CX9 a couple of weeks ago, I did smell something like rubber and plastic burning, but it was pretty faint. Two or three days later the odor was gone.

If cost is really the case I understand Mazda's reasoning. I just wish they made heated steering wheel an option in the US. In the SF Bay Area it doesn't get that cold but when I go to Lake Tahoe it gets pretty damn cold sometimes I wish my steering wheel was heated. I see that the roof rails...

I don't recall having this problem. Technically 0.25 mile is 1320 ft. and 0.1 mile is 528 ft. so the navi might round it off to 1000 ft. and 500 ft respectively. Are you sure this is not the case with your CX-9?

Thanks for the info. I checked for installers at Xpel's website and the first one gave me a quote of $1900 for full hood, etc. I'm gonna shop around some more.

Can you share how much it cost you for a full front Xpel installation?

When I test drove the CX-9, the dealer's demo car had some steering wheel and front seat vibrations. My guess was that the tires needed rebalancing. When I decided to get the CX-9, I actually test drove the car I was buying to make sure it had no issues. I hope the dealer resolves your problems...
