    Nav won't let me enter out of state zip

    I'm trying to enter a VA zip code into the navigation but it will only let me enter local MD zip codes (The state I'm in ). I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but I can not figure it. This the first time I've used the navigation for an out of state address.
