Thanks Atxyde. Holding the mode button changes it between standard and radar cruise in the 2018 software - thanks! In the 2016 software it was just a press (no hold).

Any reason why they felt it was a "safety" reason? It certainly wasn't a distraction in the HUD. It seems to me it's better to have it in the HUD than having to look down at the Tach. Is there a All-in-one AIO modification option that can restore the Tachometer in the HUD? Thanks.

Just curious if anyone else has noticed this. Our 2016 CX-9 went into the dealer to replace the fuel pump, and as part of the service they upgraded the vehicle software. After that I no longer seem to have the option to display the tachometer in the Head Up Display.

On my 2016 CX-9, it seems random when/if the BSM goes on when a car is in the blindspot. It doesn't seem to matter if I am passing them or they are passing me, or they are just hanging out in the blind spot - in any of these cases it goes on sometimes, but more often than not, the BSM indicator...

Glad I found this thread. I have same issue with my 2016 CX-9 Signature! The BSM just doesn't come on when there's a car in my blindspot. I also have a 2015 Mazda 3 - and the BSM is very accurate. I can trust that if I put on the turn signal in my Mazda 3, and it doesn't beep - then I'm safe...
