    EGR question.

So assembling new intake, curious what are all your thoughts on Canadian vs non Canadian egrs ? I have both ( and in Canada..). I replaced a non Canadian one earlier on in car's life as it was a rusted fist. Any advantages to not looping coolant through it ?

    Brake caliper part numbers:

Hi curious if anyone can help me identify my brake calipers. So, in process of swapping front ends in my p5's I have noticed my calipers are different. My donor cars was once built for solo, and as such has some nicer bits than my daily, however not sure about my front calipers. Current...

What a difference the proper tools make..

So in the past I have fought with the shift linkage pin. Pulling engine from donor car today I rattled off all the strut bracing and put a puller one it. A little heat, a little deep creep ( penetrating oil ) and it slide right out. No cutting or other horsing around. Just wow how easy it was...

    Fs-ze question

So I picked this up today, and noticed the fpr appears different than the FS DE, how big an issue is this ? Or do I use the FS DE fuel rail and be done with it ? As well, came attached to an auto transmission. Is there anything one needs to attach to a 5spd manual ? Thanks in advance...

    Rear laterial mayham.

So today I am helping a fellow p5 local out. His rear lateral looks like this. ( See picture ). I have a parts car avalible to him, how ever mine is a slightly less ( to coin PCB's turn of phrase ) rusted turd. And I am having problem removing the non shattered laterial. The nut is free but...

    Third time is the charm.

Okay, so third time out trying to gently remove the shift linkage. I have clear access top and bottom. I can even fit a puller on the pin, however it is NOT moving. I am open to suggestions that are gentler than the cutting wheel approach I have taken in the past ( at some point I will be...

    Cast exhaust question

So my parts car is turning out to be sort of like a kinder egg. I've found an odd cast exhaust manifold with 3 bolts on the flange, and no top O2 sensor or cast number. Just curious if any one could indentify where this from ? Is the one on right in photo. Thanks !

    Strut bracing.

So was trolling around the builds and came across the autoexe rear strut brace. I believe the post was from 2012 and was even then talking about how rare it was. So my question is; is there any equivalent for us ? Or is this the start of some stumping for a group buy ? Or just file under...

    Pillar gauges for what?

Hi, just purchased a new project p5. To my surprise I found its got 2 gauges mounted on the drivers pillar, on air fuel the other voltage ( unsure if its wide or narrow band ). What if any use are these? My initial searches seems to suggest they are just for the blinky light effect. I guess...

    Newbie question

Hi, just curious if losing the ground off of the power steering pump would account for guage flutter on my speedometer ? And potentially leave me with a no start situation? Just rolled my new baby off the trailer and all I can visually identify as an issue is the arcrylic filled passenger...

    Cam repair question.

So, I have a set of the MSP cams waiting for install. Seems either my storage or removal may have been a bit rough. I have a small portion cracked off the lip next the valve cover/cam gears. I have thought about using a high heat epoxy to rebuild the damaged portion, then I realized about the...
