cx-5 great handling and ride vs. mazda6

The Truecontacts was one of the most talked about replacement tires i've read about for the cx-5. So far i've read positive and negative's about them and not completely sold yet.. The General is something i'll have to look into as well. With both tires i notice the tread wear rating is so much...

cx-5 great handling and ride vs. mazda6

Totally agree on the tires. I would say the stock toyo's responsive but they do not grip under really hard cornering. I'm already contemplating new tires with currently 3k on the odo but the tire options are so limited nothing seems to be better than the stock toyo's from what i've read.

cx-5 great handling and ride vs. mazda6

Never got a chance to drive a 370z i always assumed they would handle great i know the 350z's handled pretty good, got a chance to ride in a couple. My G37 handled really well and the cx-5 is right up there. The cx-5 is just a bit more balanced understeer/oversteer along with more comfort. The...

cx-5 great handling and ride vs. mazda6

I have to agree also the cx-5 handles really well for a high center of gravity vehicle. So far i've taken the cx-5 on several mountain trips with tons of turns. The steering is really impressive it is so accurate i barely ever have to correct steering angle in a corner, very predictable. Body...

    Infortainment Update

Thanks for the pics. It seems like that haze is a separate issue from what myself and "Ride92" are noticing. Possibly a new issue post new headlight sealant.

    Swirl marks

I previously owned two black cars(07 Wrx sti, 10 G37S sedan) before my Cx-5. I was very picky with who washed my car's i would only use a detailing place for my washes and would have them wax every few months. In terms of the swirls the detail shop were really good at avoiding it. I know they...

Hi All, New around here and just got our CX-5 on Christmas eve apparently at the same dealer (DGDG)"SK77X" almost the same model as well. Ours is a 2016 GT AWD tech package with rear parking sensors, cargo cover, and trunk trim. So far i've removed the roof rails, added all season floor...

    OEM Aluminum Pedals

my local hardware store only had standard as well.. I subbed it for a 3/16($2.69) it's the closest i could get to 5mm without being too large. It's about 4.8mm and since it's styrofoam there was some flexibility to the hole after drilling and worked perfectly.

    OEM Aluminum Pedals

Cool thanks! I found it kinda difficult to cut through the carpet but finally managed and after that was easy. I ended up just picking up 5mm drill bit so i went ahead and used it. by drilling it was helpful to keep the nut plate in place. [/IMG]

    OEM Aluminum Pedals

Hi OP, I was wondering if you could recall your install for the footrest. Did you really not need to drill for it? If i don't have to drill would be nice otherwise i'm heading to orchard supply for the 5mm drill bit. Thanks!

    OEM Aluminum Pedals

Bringing this post back from the dead! I was wondering you ever got the dead pedal installed? Or if anyone has installed one recently.. My main question is did you have to pre drill into the carpet and drill into the styrofoam like it mentions in the instructions. Any input would be appreciated.
